Upper Crown Moldings

Upper molding is available in two shapes, rectangular, or 45 degree on top of rectangular. Upper crown molding can be applied to most of our hood designs. Materials can be mixed and or matched to the canopy depending on the look which is desired.

Inset Lips – Upper and Lower

Inset lips are available on wall mount or island canopies. On wall mounted canopies the lip can stop at a specified distance on the side to join with cabinetry. Inset lips are available in any material we manufacture with and can be mixed and matched to your needs.

Vertical or Horizontal Bands

Decorative Rivets

Decorative rivets are available on virtually any area of Modern-Aire’s hoods. Custom spacing and sizes are available.

Pot Rails

5/8” diameter railing can be added to any or all sides of the range hood.

• Brushed or Polished Brass
• Brushed or Polished Copper
• Any Powder Coated RAL Color

Seamless Construction

Seamless construction is offered as an upgrade to all of Modern-Aire’s range hood canopies. Seamless construction replaces all exposed seams on the canopy making the hood look like it was die cast from one piece of metal. The material used are also upgraded to a thickness of 14 ga versus 20 ga or 22 ga.

Heat Lamps

Heat Lamps are offered for use on wall mount hoods which are 30” deep or deeper. Full size heat lamps are provided with a mini chrome trim. The number of lamps varies depending on the customers needs.

LED Lights

LED’s are “directional” light sources, which means they emit light in a specific direction, unlike incandescent and CFL, which emit light and heat in all directions. That means LEDs are able to use light and energy more efficiently in a multitude of applications.

We offer LED lighting for a minimal extra charge. Voltage: 120V, Wattage: 8W, Color Temp (Kelvin): 3000K
